Yeah, I'm the commissioner of our money fantasy league, and I'm having to text everyone each time there is a change. Ugh. I did create an extra IR spot so that Covid players can be placed there if their teams play anyway. We also changed our entry fee to only $50 instead of $150 knowing this season would have issues. Seems like they need to quarantine these teams if there is an chance of having a full season. It only takes one idiot. Luckily there are bye weeks now. Not sure what they will do once a team gets covid and their bye week has already been used.

Now they're postponing or moving the game.

 

My fantasy world is upside down this week (Henry and Mahomes as basically my top 2 players)

Yea fantasy is a mess haha. Guys being on covid list and IR eligible is easy enough, but the uncertainty of when a game is being played 24 hours before first kickoffs on Sunday is going to make setting lineups screwy.

 

I had to pick up Tonyan from Packers for when Kelce inevitably is given a bye a Monday afternoon

Yep I am probably gonna start Fitzmagic who I picked up yesterday cuz Mahomes was my only QB. I don't think this is gonna be a solid year for only carrying 1 QB or 1 D or 1 TE.

What a relief. I need football in my life right now. Quarantine those bastards!

Saints have Michael Thomas and Jared Cook, their starting DE, and both starting CBs out today with injury. They were awake at 1am this morning getting Covid tests with a noon kickoff today. I know it’s Detroit but it’s going to be tough today.

Apparently there has been recent talk of changing the NFL to a 12 game season. Taking away the 2nd conference games and removing one out of conference game. WIth the Saints test being a fake positive, maybe that was premature discussion. But with flu season approaching, there is concern given the positive tests this week. That certainly increases the Bears chances of making the playoffs. But, I hope we get a full season with teams quarantined instead.

The Cowboys are an amazing cluster horsefeathers right now.

 

Dak is going to throw for an NFL record in yardage (on pace for over 6000), but the Cowboys are going to have double digit losses. And they're still going to win the division by a game and a half. And I don't know if that's proof that the Cowboys should re-sign Dak or proof that they shouldn't. Either way, it'll likely be the wrong decision.

What Carolina is doing on offense with an average QB, decent to meh receivers, and McCaffrey sidelined half the season so far is extremely exciting to consider when Joe Brady has better players to work with.

[Davante] Adams hasn't officially been ruled out by the Packers, but he made an announcement on twitter Monday morning, strongly hinting at disagreement between he and the team. "Sorry fans and friends, I won't be on the field tonight. I've done everything I need to do and proved I'm ready but I guess I don't know my body as well as others. Good luck out there my boys."

Cam tested positive Thursday or Friday so they pushed the Pats-Chiefs game back to make sure no other Pats had it. Nobody else tested positive.
