I actually like joe buck, but he kind of bungled that call

 

He had a chance to quote his dad and he missed it. That quote came to mind seconds after the play was over.

kershaw was pretty good. the monkey is probably off his back if the dodgers finish it. there was a lot of nonsense early that could have blown up, but he held it together

snell should go off on cash after the game, who gives a horsefeathers

 

No one would have questioned Cash if he had left Snell in and it was Snell who gave up the lead.

 

But that move is going to get talked about for a very long time. It wasn't the right move.

It wasn't quite the same, but I had Joe Maddon/Kyle Hendricks/David Ross flashbacks that whole inning.

 

That was horsefeathering brutal managing by Cash. And as Verducci noted, he didn't even bring in a reliever that made sense for what he was doing.

They only manage by them so I’d assume they thought they were in a vacuum, but they had a giant blind spot that Anderson hasn’t been Anderson for a while and Snell was shoving.

They did the same thing in the ALCS and Snell wasn’t happy about that one either.

Snell only had 23 PA facing an hitter for the 3rd time in a game all season so clearly the Rays don’t want him to pitch deep into games but man he was cruising. Sometimes that stuff matters too
