Swapping out Schwarbs for Brantley would be a great upgrade for us. Even if the overall value WAR wise between the two isn’t all that different. The drastically different profile would be a welcome reworking here.

It’s not over but the dodgers are in trouble. What an epic fake rally, if I was a big dodger fan I would be so frustrated!

 

As a cubs fan who lived the dream I have to say this situation is fairly amusing. The giants won 3 and didn’t have half the talent these last few dodger team have.

I'm also glad that it looks like they're going to go down in the LCS. If they had lost in the wildcard round they could have rightfully blamed the new rules. But at this point it's a pretty clear choke job.

I’m not sure I have ever seen the pitching change before the pinch hitter was announced before. I get you’re up 6 in the 7th inning, but that’s pretty basic stuff.
