My predictions from yesterday:

Lucroy started and got a big hit.... check; Castellanos hit a HR.... check, check; Hamels dominated.... ok, so two outta three ain't bad.

Either way, Road Cobs > Home Cubs, at least for one day. Let's keep it going.

In today's game we got Yu babe (Yeah, I'm old enough to remember Sonny & Cher) going up against Temper Tantrum Bauer. Despite his childish behavior, Bauer can be good and, in his career he's done well against the Cubs... so long as you don't count two little unimportant games in 2016. One would think that with the way Yu has been pitching it should be a good match up.

However, when I looked up the Edith Cox Small Sample Size Stat of the DayTM I learned that Darvish is undefeated on Friday games on the road, at stadiums alongside rivers, when his team scored more than 10 runs in the prior game* so screw Bauer and the Reds, we got this horsefeathers.

Schwarber dongs, Yu goes six and the Road Cobs keep on rolling.

Go Cubs. Just win. That is all.

I know plenty of fans who think Bauer is great as a personality and want him on the Cubs for that reason. "He just tells it like it is." Sound like anyone else we see in public life? horsefeathers that noise. Beat his ass.

I was at the game last night and will be there again. I guarantee a win.

Cubs fans around me (cf) were hailing the virtues of Albert almora. I said he was slow and bad. When he made the average-ish catch they wanted to know what I thought of it. Surely no one else on the team could have made that catch. I didn’t want to argue so I didn’t tell them it was probably an 80% probability catch and that A real defensive center fielder would have been camped under it.

They gloatingly let me know as they left that Almora hit .400 on the game. I didn’t tell them that 2 for five with two singles and no walks was only about league average ops and still was a great night for Albert. My poor wife had to hear all of it on the way back to the hotel.

Edith Cox is a typical Cubs fan.

Today I will not have to look at almora’s stupid curly hair and stupid face.

Go Cubs.

How did you make a greater than/equal to sign?

[alt] 242

≤ is [alt]243

Neat trick! ...although he did totally underline a greater than at the start of the thread.

Yeah, I noticed that when I went back and looked after I posted.

Kyle Ryan to the bereavement list. I wonder if they knew that was coming when he went 2+ yesterday?

Alec Mills up.

Heard Happ was unaccounted for last night after the game for a few hours.
