So, looking at it without personal interests and just pure baseball, who has the better chance of beating the Brewers in the divisional round, the Cubs or either the Rockies/Dodgers? Or pretty much a push because of the crap shoot nature?

it's pretty clear the brewers are never losing again

They’re going on a 2007 Rockies run.

Let have their fun, should they make the WS don't think they'll have much of a chance against the AL.

The Brewers had to win their last 8 games to win the division and hope the Cubs would go 5-4 or worse over that timeframe and that's exactly whats happening. Kudos to them they earned it.

It's time to admit the Brewers are better. They finished with better offensive numbers than us, they finished with better defensive numbers than us. I'm not sure about the starting pitching, but our pens were neck and neck. They've played better than us the entire second half and outplayed us the majority of the last 9 games we played in August/Sept

At full strength the Cubs are probably better but I'm certain. The offense is just too bad unless all the players that randomly took dips this year just as randomly get better next year.

Also I'm just in a bad mood I'm sure there are stats that make me look like an idiot

We won 95 games despite dealing with a bevy of injuries and a travel schedule from hell. I'm sure we'll be fine.

They’re playing better right now/last month but they aren’t much better and aren’t better long term. But if you want to think that go for it.

And like Colorado they'll get stomped in the WS.

It’s true. Tell me how they possibly are set up better than us moving forward

And yet were outscored in the second half and our offense plummeted to the bottom of the league. Some might be due to the schedule but its clear something stinks in Chicago.

We will be fine, I'm just trying to drive the final nail in the "Cubs are better than the Brewers and will win the division stop worrying ninny" argument.

The interesting thing is, if the Cubs win tomorrow, it's pretty much like winning the division any way. Home field advantage doesn't mean crap, and we'd be starting with our best pitcher in Game 1.

That said, I can't have the Brewers winning the World Series, so if the Cubs are going to lose to them, then somebody else needs to take them out.
