Kris went on a 3-1 count against Rizzo, it was ball 4, but the catcher threw to second anyways. Because of the shift, the thirdbaseman came over to back up the throw, meaning nobody was covering third, so Kris just ran to third.

KB was running on the 3-2 pitch to Rizzo which turned out to be ball 4, they had a shift on still with the 3B playing SS and taking the throw to 2B, nobody was covering third so KB got up after he slid in and ran to 3B
