I never thought I would be rooting for a potential Yankees/Dodgers World Series. I want Houston to not repeat and I would rather have ISIS in the Series in place of the Brewers.

Well, if the Brewers just keep rolling, hopefully it'll just be that much more motivation for Theo and co. to take no prisoners in the offseason.

 

Hell, I hope they win the WS, while a good team they've had an incredible number of things work out perfectly - Wade Miley? Are you kidding me? I hope Brewers fans appreciate what's happening because, there's a slim to none chance it'll happen again in their lifetime.

 

It'll be fun next pre-season-season when everyone dismisses the Cubs and talks Brewers, Brewers while the Cubs quietly get healthy, sign Harper

and blow away the NL Central.

 

They can lose in game 7 of the NLCS and go away forever

I will never not feel just a twinge of anxiety thinking about 2016 and the house of cards that that WS win was constructed upon. Not the team necessarily, just the circumstances and Game 7 nature of things. Change any little thing and it could have blown away forever.

 

I mean, if you told me I could go back in time and tell Theo to avoid signing Heyward, I wouldn't do it.

What team left is the most likable? For most people it would be the brewers but we obviously can't have that.

 

I think the Indians are in trouble so maybe the Yankees? Really no fun options as far as cheering goes, although I guess I don't care THAT much who wins.

Brewers

 

All these choices suck. I thought it would be relaxing the first time in forever (only the third time in 21 seasons) that both the Cubs and Cardinals were not in the real playoffs. But knowing we should have been there, and then watching the Dodgers, Astros and Brewers win has really sucked.

I get the Astros hate but for some reason I don't really have it. They've been in the AL for 6 years and were mediocre at best their last 7 years in the NL (08 at 86-75 was their only solid year). And they generally go out there and hit a lot of dongs.

It’s the curse of Chief Wahoo. The faster they eliminate that logo from history, the better they’ll be. The fact that the fans are clinging to a symbol that is not only racist, but also associated with decades of misery and disappointment is something I’ll never understand
