Well, yeah. It's why I couldn't give two [expletive] about the run differential. All eyes should be on building for the postseason. The regular season is damned near a foregone conclusion at this point.

Pretty much this, the only "building" you can do in my eyes is trying to do everything you can control in making sure guys are healthy or as close to 100% as they can get by the time the playoffs start. Which, like the playoffs, is largely due to luck and things you can't control.

 

I think they can keep it going and will be quite steady for the whole season. OBP, base running, and work deep counts has been pretty darned good so far. I would still like to see how good our minor league prospects get by the trade deadline to see if we have enough to pry away a good TOR starter with at least 3-4 years of control left.
