Yeah but that's not what you said. It's May 4th. Lester had a 1.76 ERA in May last year. He had terrible BAPIP luck in April, as evidenced by a 6.23 ERA and a 2.21 FIP. He's really good, along with the rest of this team. Enjoy it.

Coming into this series I was sort of worried. I was hoping for a 2-1 series win, but was preparing for 1-2 series loss. I'm at a loss for words. The Cubs are just destroying the Pirates. I mean it's like watching a college hockey team play an NHL team. The Pirates are a very good team. I love it.

Sorry I didn't equate the time frame, and I didn't realize Lester was that good last May. I just remember last april vs. how he ended the season.

In general it's just safe to not "remember" a time when Lester was bad with the Cubs because Lester has been a great pitcher for the Cubs.
