I was at the game. And I'd say 2 of the 3 pitches are quick pitches... The motion was so funny to see... I think part of the reason for doing it was s-rod takes forever doing his pre-pitch routine, while he's still in the box...

 

I think s-rod is like the hockey enforcer... goes out to stir things up and wake his team up... or get in the other teams head... didn't work in this case.

Strop quick pitched him, as Strop likes to do. They stared eachother down and that turned into Rodriguez exchanging words with our dugout.

 

There was a moment there where Strop had an opportunity to quick pitch him again while he was in the box and yelling at our dugout, and I would have paid good money to see it. Unfortunately the umpire called time.
