Anthony Rizzo is on pace to score more than 130 runs, drive in more than 150 runs, hit more than 50 homers, and walk 120 times, while striking out fewer than 90 times. His OPS is comfortably over 1.000. He ranks fourth among MLB first basemen in UZR and third in DRS.

He also ranks fourth in fWAR among our position players.

As of right now, here's where our guys rank on the MLB fWAR leaderboard:

3. Fowler

10. Bryant

11. Zobrist

13. Rizzo

29. Russell

All five starting pitchers are among the top 30 pitchers in MLB in fWAR, too.

Bryant hasn't played enough innings at 3B this year to qualify for fielding metrics on FanGraphs leaderboards, but of all 3B with a minimum of 100 innings played at the position, Bryant has the 3rd best UZR behind Nolan Arenado and Adrian Beltre. He also has the #1 UZR/150,

Seems like they're really cut up about Gerrit Cole's comments.

This team is so awesome.

this amuses me; DRS has him 8 runs behind Arenado and he's made 2 out-of-zone plays to Nolan's 26(!)

but to be fair he's converted nearly everything within his zone, best at the position by far

Random guy on reddit so take it with a grain of salt:

My friend who greets at the airport just informed me that Mr. Nathan is meeting with the Cubs. He gave me the report last year of Soler being in a boot so I trust what he tells me. We definitely need some bullpen help if you ask me. Maybe Nathan still has something left in the tank.

I don't doubt the FO would go dumpster diving for bullpen reinforcements - they basically did last year - but I can't see any scenario where Nathan would pan out.

Well, he did have an ERA of 0.00 last year...

My wife bought me a "Try Not To Suck" t-shirt for your 18 year anniversary of our first date. Yay! The UPS man just brought it to me. There is no finer gift!

I can barely remember the date of my wedding. I have declared all other "anniversaries" null and void.

I solved that by getting married on April Fool's Day.

i'm so going to stanley's the next night before an off day at home

I'm a little baffled by why they insist on going somewhere so lame.

Plus I'm bitter that I've only seen Wood and, inexplicably, Glendon Rusch there.

I didn't remember it. My wife did. And actually, mine is easy to remember, because our first date was on same night as the final episode of Seinfeld.
