Happ looks like he just realized as he looked up at that moment he's seeing tonight's victim.

 

Someone's gonna do an innocuous interview with him and we're gonna find out his favorite TV show is Dexter and this place is gonna burn to the ground.

 

Yeah I know, that show sucked. I'd lose a little respect for him.

Oh come on. I know you were making a joke, but Mormons and Evangelicals aren't the same thing. I went to High School in Colorado Springs. Believe me, I have a lot of experience with both (including some Ted Haggard stories).

Reading the Verducci book and there's a couple sentences about a veteran riding a young player too hard for making mistakes. From everything we heard about him, it's definitely Ross, right?

i almost posted about this when I was reading the book. i think it's like 65% lackey, 20% montero riding contreras due to lack playing time bitterness, 15% ross or someone else.

not to start "this" again, but by his own volition Ross has stated that he would sometimes ride the guys (namely KB and Rizzo based on the interview) hard sometimes. I don't think it was anything that caused any kind of turmoil, but I think he *could* be a bit of an "old man/old school* teammate but I think it was good to have a mixture of both those types of mentalities (to some degree - I'm not really into the old school/antiquated baseball mentality). Anyway, he has stated before that he would ride the guys some - not sure he or anyone else ever said it was over-the-top, though, so who knows.
