There's only one man with the power and skill to hit the Wintrust sign, and that is Samuel P. Sosa.

Glenallen Hill would like a word with you.

I saw him hit one high off the scoreboard at Coors. Yeah, I know, cool story.

Not sure where that guy got his list but the 01 Mariners were 19 up after 65 games. Unless he means between 10 and 11 games up, but that would be weird.

Hey davell, am I crazy or wasn't this guy hating on the Cubs hard like a year ago

Oh, he was laughing about the Lester signing, saying Quintana was much better and that it'd take years for our youngsters to acclimate to the majors. Even this season, he kept pushing how good the White Sox are and how they're flying under the radar as one of the two best teams in baseball.

What if Dexter gets DL'd -- who comes up? Zagunis?

I'm assuming they'd go with another pitcher (Edwards, Patton) and shorten the bench until LaStella or Soler comes back. Still have 4 OFs, plus Bryant. Still have 5 IFs, plus Coghlan. Only other hitters on the 40-man who are not injured are Vogelbach and Candelario.

Makes sense, I forgot about Coghlan.

Jason McLeod on the radio. That guy sounds just like Theo.

Did he say anything interesting or important?

Nah. Mostly fluff really.

Mostly Mulley asking questions about how they do awesome things and McCleod using buzzwords to hide his humblebragging.

Proud Father's Day moment yesterday. I was watching ESPN before the game last night and they had players talking about their fathers. They show Kris Bryant talking about his dad, and my son goes "Hey, is that Kris Bryant?"

Mind you, my son is 6. He does some beginning reading, but very good for his age. But his name was not on the screen anyway. He has never really been into baseball really. He'll casually watch with me as I have the Cubs on the computer. But not very attentively. So, it really surprised me that he knew Kris Bryant and it was pretty awesome.
