Posted that exact screenshot to FB and chaos ensued.

"Who had the better career?"

"But who has a world series ring?"

I just replied "who has the more punchable face?"

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2640789-dream-team-a-week-with-cubs-modern-family-reveals-unmatched-off-field-bond

DISCLAIMER - I haven't actually read it yet, but I was told it was good and fun.

Fun article, even though it needs an editor.

Also, dafuq:

Across the street at the landmark Murphy's Bleachers, the award-winning ribs fall off the bone

People eat ribs at Murphy's and they're award-winning?

lmao...terrible. probably nitpicky but i took issue with referring to the clubhouse as "newly renovated" when what it is is brand new altogether

I kind of want to know the 3 teammates who werent at the pizza party

Ben Zobrist, because he is a creepy weirdo and nobody invited him.

Justin Grimm, because he is stupid and he spaced out and forgot about it.

And Javy, because he didn't know where the party was at, so he went to the front desk to ask if they could tell him, and when they asked him for the name of his teammate, he hadn't bothered learning Dexter's yet, so he was left in the dark.

was curious about ZiPS updates and changes in true talent-level, so i checked out the full-season (162G) WAR paces on pre-season projections compared to rest-of-season projections

stock: up!

Fowler: 2.4 to 3.9, 2nd biggest increase in MLB (behind T. Shaw)

Zobrist: 3.6 to 4.7, 6th-biggest increase

Russell: 2.9 to 3.3

Ross: 0.3 to 2.1 lol

stock: down :(

Heyward: 4.7 to 3.6, one of the biggest overall drops

Soler: 1.5 to 0.8

Baez: 2.4 to 1.9

everybody else mostly even

Confused. Fowler's increase is 1.5, which you said is 2nd best in MLB behind T. Shaw, but Ross's increase is 1.8....

Random good news: was looking at upcoming pitching probables and it looks like we will be missing Kershaw In the 4 game series next week vs LA at Wrigley

Sounds just like missing Bumgarner in the 4-gamer last year against the Giants. Hopefully the result is the same.

This team will have several more 7 to 10 game win streaks. This past week and a half has been frustrating but it will alone fine!

I mean for as good as we are I don't think we should expect "several" 7+ game win streaks. That's still really hard. What will likely happen are stretches of 6 o f 8, 10 of 13, 15-16 of 20 type stretches. Which is fine.
