Is it a conflict of interest for Safelite to be working with us? I figured the Cardinals probably had them on retainer, what with all the broken windshields they have had to deal with.

Holy [expletive], what a melon.

And he's just sucking in his glorious, jiggly gut.

But that other guy is playing the game wrong! You have to hold that below waist level or aren't allowed to hit them.

Going to my first spring training this year. Only going to be there 3 days though, before heading to Vegas for March Madness. What is there to do there, other than attend the games?

Well...its Mesa so you'll spend your free time trying not to get shot

Hmm, so apparently that one thing everyone is searching for that could bring this team down will be a season long feud between Lester and Zobrist that divides the clubhouse.

I can see it already: It will be kinda like a Shaq/Kobe-type feud, where Kobe decides to not pass the ball to Shaq. "Dude, seriously, you have to believe me, I can't throw you the ball."

I laughed out when I got to the Lackey poster, what a let down after the other names

I'd put Zobrist on one before him, but TT's comment still puts things in perspective for me. The Cards ace last year isn't a top 8 player for us this year.

I love how they all get along. Well there's 2 factions...the young guys and the old red necks, but even they both seem to co-mingle quite well.

I think hes an intermediary. Not quite in the same age range as the younger guys, but not really old enough to be an old guy. Going to make a blanket statement and say because hes from Texas he has some redneck in him, but he's too cool to be lumped in with those guys.

he was born in Missouri grew up in Texas and turns 30 in spring training.

He is an old redneck. He's much much closer to being Jon Lester than Addison Russell, Kris Bryant or Jason Heyward.

And he went to an SEC school and he's best buds with Carpenter.
