He's ridiculous but it's more like the doubles record. If you set it, you're a great player but it's not the holy grail of your sports records like HRs are for baseball. What I find crazy, last year he beat 2nd place by less than 50 3-pters. Right now he leads by 113 and it's likely to grow to around 150 by season end. That's a number that would have nearly led the league as recently as 2011-12. A margin of victory so large it could have led the league just 5 years ago.
How many Cubs in top 20? Rizzo, Bryant, Arrieta... I felt like Lester should've been in the top 100 somewhere, but then I look at the pitchers in the back end of that list and ehhh... Puig, Pujols? ... among others
It was THEO. ya know, the guy whose body language actually looked like someone shouting at people 100 feet away. You tilt your head up to shout over distance like Theo is doing, you don't look straight ahead like Dexter. This really isn't difficult. http://i740.photobucket.com/albums/xx46/swollengoat/hahayeah.gif
Whatever, before your daughter you used to post pictures of your bitches all day long. so this guy has been here long enough to remember bob sanders from like 2006 WHO ARE YOU!? If you notice, I edited my post right away. At first glance thought it was the guy who told me about the site who I know. Made the post and realized I misread the posters name.
The way he wrote it made it sound like the Cubs had three individual players who had played every position at the MLB level over their individual careers.
This tweet makes my brain hurt. Explain it to me. Odd way of saying the Cubs have at least three guys at every position who have MLB experience at said position.
Where did you get the average? Been looking and ended up just having to filter to qualified CF and do the math myself which isn't the exact number. Guys like Trout and McCutchen have bumped CF up recently. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=cf&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=0&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0,ss&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0 Basically just click on the league tag. Thanks. FYI .734 not .743
