Wrigley Rat made his late-season case for NL MVP in Wednesday night’s game. Photographer Will Byington was filming as the tenacious, indefatigable little rodent tried repeatedly to make the leap from the fencing above the ivy to berm in center field.

Once, twice a failure. But the third time? That’s what separates men (and rats) from mice. You will want the sound on for this video; the crowd is the best part.

Wrigley Rat is immediately in the top 5 most beloved member of the 2018 Cubs.

Cubs media never seems to ask questions about this project until there's a press release or a Crane release, but is the annex along Addison and Sheffield actually going to happen? It's still up on the official website but has not been mentioned in any writing for winter 2019 work.

Looks like the scrapped the "2 story retail annex" thing where the captain morgan/draftkings whatever was...bummer, i was looking forward to that. thought it looked good.

instead, they'll be going with this...

Right field enhancements: New in 2019, fans will enjoy an expansive bar just inside the Wintrust Right Field Gate and concession stands. The former DraftKings Fantasy Sports Zone space will be refashioned to include an outdoor gathering space with a full service bar and a Cubs Store. Two women’s restrooms will be available in the right field area of the main concourse as well. Operational by August, a new elevator in the right field corner of the main concourse will assist fans with getting to the Terrace Level and Upper Level.

That's a huge bummer, but the elevator will certainly be welcomed by my elderly relatives.

Did they end up scrapping the idea of opening the "outer" half of the upper deck? Initially, they'd planned on extending the concourse to the roof to double bathrooms and concessions but haven't heard much about that.

Did not scrap it according to todays news. Will be ready by May 2019

I hope numbering the bleacher areas isn't a precursor for getting rid of general admission.

They've been numbered for a while. As a bleacher STH, I get an exact section and seat number for the playoffs despite GA all season

Only if you're colorblind.

DID WE JUST FIND OUT YOU'RE COLORBLIND.

more like ADD, I stop reading after the 5th or 15th different section

gimme the ole box, mezzanine, loge* and upper deck then breaking it up by rows 1-XX and let me figure out where I want to sit.

*I've never been 100% confident I know where loge seats are in most stadiums

Shea stadium had the dumbest "box" seats, the ones behind home plate and the dugouts. Each box was numbered and consisted of 4 seats, 2 behind each other. So if you had 4 seats together, you had 2 and 2, and a bar running down the middle of the person not on the aisle.

The number of different seat/section designations is ridiculous

Why.

Who benefits from 25 different seating options?

PTR from being able to price tier more appropriately obv

How many different prime/premium game price structures are layered over the 25 seating sections? Is this the PTR version of 4D chess?
