Slim pickings in AL Catchers there, Sal Perez seems to be the default choice. Also he may or may not be dead, like how the Royals position players are dropping like flies

He didn't mean "leads the AL catchers"

He leads all players in votes

yeah but he plays at a position with no competition from the rest of the league so of course he's going to accumulate all the votes

It blows my mind that he never pitched an inning after the age of 24.

really?

Yes his career was over after 24. I just remembered his career too well for it to be over that early.

So now all of White Sox Nation is talking about potential calling up Tim Anderson and I decided to check his stats and he has a career minor league 64-332 BB-KK ratio

So basically, the perfect White Sox player. Why should I expect him to not get eaten alive at the majors?

Sounds like he's had Javy type adjustment issues at each new level. So, he's likely to be really bad early on.

Clayton Kershaw enters Wednesday's outing at Arizona tied with Curt Schilling for most 10-plus strikeout games with no walks in a season (six). He has today, and the next 3½ months to try and stand alone with that mark.
