Seriously, when the Dodgers got Friedman I was like "Oh horsefeathers, this could be a problem for the Cubs" and he's really not doing anything that makes me afraid the Cubs can't defeat them in any capacity unless Kershaw is on the mound, and that's nothing Friedman can take credit for. He's made some decent moves, but nothing like Samardzija + Hammel for Russell.
