After this Im ready for the WS to be over ASAP and get down to business right away and looking forward to the meetings and see what Theo & Co has planned...Im down for signing one of the big names like Price,Zimmerman,Cueto, dump Hammel and trade Hendricks in a package. Big name + trade for Sonny Gray+ trade for Tyson Ross as our number 5 :) Then get a shutdown reliver and call it a day ...Wont happen but I really hope they get 2 impact starters

Trading Hendricks would be silly. He's pretty good and cheap.

 

I'd be fine with him as a number 5...I wanna really like him, but then he has many starts where you don't know what youre going to get. If he's not on with his location with his 89 mph stuff,hes in trouble and just nibbles. I do hope and I think he will get better. Just can't trust him as a #3 starter as we seen in the playoffs..Hed be a great #5 during the regular season though

The Mets being talked about as on equal footing with the Cubs in terms of fan suffering has [expletive] pissed me off all week. They won a title less than 30 [expletive] years ago and I've seen them play in a Series.

Man, ended too soon but let's not forget how great this season was and how much we have to build on. Hope all the guys make use of the offseason and come back better next year

Bring on the Tommy John surgeries for the Mets' pitchers and Murphy getting busted for PEDs.

 

We had a great year, I think everyone would have easily taken it at the beginning. Let's get a starter, a veteran bat to balance the lineup out and get home field advantage next time.

5 days ago we were feeling good about going to the World Series. It seemed like a realistic thing that could really happen and now the concept feels so damn far away from reality, placed back into my imagination. 5 damn days

Put it this way, there is no video or audio record of our last World Series title as there was no TV or radio. There is no color video of our last World Series appearance.

Yeah. A whole lot went right for us this year and these opportunities don't come around much. Our odds are as good as anyone's but it's significantly less than 50/50 that we'll be back here in a year.
