Starlin's lean helps Rizzo even more in this debate, IMO. But they all fall short of Schwarber in Pittsburgh. Not sure what else that one could have had to make it greater.

Schwarber dong was as swaggy a dong as you're gonna see, fellas. If he'd dropped the bat cleanly, it would've jumped up and flipped itself.

Soler ruining the soul of Wainwright is a close second. If he'd had the foresight to jog to the mound first and place his enormous gold chain on Wainwright's still steaming corpse, it might have gotten a leg up on Schwarbs'.

he hit it over the scoreboard

I still haven't completely processed that that happened

I'm not sure if it's the best, but the Baez HR was the moment where I felt the Cubs were going to win the series for sure.

I still can't believe Javy, Soler, Bryant, Rizzo, Shwarber and Castro all donged in Wrigley in front of the hometown fans in their first playoff series taking down the freakin Cardinals . What a payoff for following these kids progress through the system and into and their early careers. If someone were to write it into a screenplay you would make fun of them for being too over the top and cheesy.

If Schwarber pimped tonight's donger like he did the Pittsburgh one, it would be the all time favorite. He didn't flip his bat in contempt for the other team like he did there though.

Which is a shame.

The wildcard bomb Schwarber pimped was amazing.

Tonight though the electricity in that stadium, plus being a late inning bomb by Schwarber was just amazing.

The place was absolutely shaking. It was followed by Wrigley blasting Whoomp There It Is.. which is the greatest post home run song there is.

Schwarber's Wild Card Dong and his Game 4 Dong were, by far, the most impressive. It would take something crazy to be more prodigious or forceful. However, Javy's was worth more and came when we were trailing and put us in the lead. And it was with two outs. Under my arbitrary interpretation of the word "best," I'm gonna have to go with Javy's.

Baez's was the most significant and timely this far, but Schwarber's two uberdongs have been demoralizing kicks to the nuts of the opponents; the moments when the enemy became fully aware of the futility of their feeble attempts to endure the dongpocalypse.

The one in Pittsburgh was the better of the two. The sound, the sight of it disappearing into the night, and the concise yet authoritatively swagtastic flip and strut...it was perfection.

Schwarber 1 still first, just inches ahead of Schwarber 3, but I'm sorely tempted to put Javy 2nd. That was so unexpected and so [expletive] awesome considering everything Javy had dealt with the last 14 months, and on a really good pitch. It just made me so happy

Watching the two Schwarber shots, I just sat back, grinning smugly at the TV. Baez's had me jumping up and down, mostly because of the timing and the unexpectedness.
