for fun, Hudson's HS line: 70.1 IP, 34 H, 5 ER, 152 K, 29 BB

Pawelek gave up 0 ER in 63 IP while striking out 132.

Even for fun, I just can't get excited by high school stats anymore.

Oy, Kellogg. Well, we were going to pop one or two of those at some point today, so a pitchability lefty is fine, I guess.

5th round sure feels like the college pitchability round with Kellogg, Duchesne, Waddell, and Jacome.

Very curious how the numbers work out for the first 2 guys in Happ/Dewees.

Why did Pawelek bust? Wasn't his stuff nasty?

Just bad control or?

Like the Killian and Wade picks in the 9th round for Colorado and Minnesota. Wade looked like a day one pick in the UCLA Regional.

Stuff wasn't never as good as his senior year in HS and he had a poor work ethic.

No joke, he actually broke his arm trying to jump into the pool from the second floor of his apartment complex.

Maybe Hudson won't eat Dan Vogelbach.

Yeah, I saw that and figure this is how he's gotten there. Our entire spending allotment is 7.597,905. That's with the 5% overage.....

1) Happ-2.7

2)Dewees-1.28

3) Hudson-1.000

4) Wilson-.600

5) Kellogg-.300

6-10)-.100 combined

5.980 spent, leaving 1.5 and change for today. I guess we'll know if this is the case based on what we do in 11-15.

Really hoping they can draft/afford Cole Sands. I really like from what I've read on him. I'm predicting him in the 11th.

I have to think Sands is headed to Florida State now. If they felt he would sign, I gotta imagine that they would've popped him already. They might still pop him later and give a run at it, but the later it gets, the more unlikely it feels.

He wasn't the prospect that his brother was, but he was still an intriguing prospect. Maybe he just wants to go to college. Nothing wrong with that.

So hilariously fucked up that the draft has a cap for all intent and the free agency market doesn't.

Before anyone gets his thong even more in a bunch, I know why. It's just an observation.

Why is that expletived up?

It isn't.

Brewers first round pick, Trent Clark, ran/fell into the CF wall tonight and was down for 15 min and left on a stretcher. Apparently a head/neck injury.
