Lovie did more with far less talent.

Like the Bears, they were better last year.

 

This isn't even about TB. Lovie had a good thing going here, always had the guys ready to play, dealt with garbage ass WRs and OL, and still flirted with the playoffs every year.

 

At the time I called the Lovie firing necessary. I'm recanting completely. Should have taken one more swing at an OC.

Seven years as a scout and 5 as director of scouting is plenty of experience. And his player personnel moves have been largely good. He's very likely to get a second shot at a head coach hire.

Because at least all the other teams are working really hard to have good offenses and thwart our terrible defense. But it shouldn't be that hard to fart out a functional ST unit.

I have literally watched zero plays in this game, but it seems to me that O line continuity has been a huge problem this year where health of that unit contributed largely to success of the offense last year.
