Somebody needs to be fired tomorrow whether that's Mel Tucker or Trestman. I assume Trestman is fine until the end of the year so fire Tucker and see what anyone else can do. Can't be any worse.

It won't do any good, but no reason not to get rid of Tucker.

I'd get rid of Tucker now if anyone "needs to be fired," but I think they will sit tight for now.

Trestman is definitely keeping his job through the year, next year too.

No way he stays through next year at this pace.

Marshall complaining that the MVP-in-the-making in Cutler didn't throw him the ball enough. Not the first time he's said this, won't be the last. Maybe Marshall forgot that part of the reason the Bears are 3-4 is because he tried to play through any injury and that didn't work out so well.

That's stupid.

1. He doesn't decide if he plays out not ultimately.

2. One of those games he scored 3 TDs to help the team win.

3. The team won the 2 games he was most hurt in, mostly because he caught 3 TDs in one of those. They weren't going to win the GB game regardless without a defensive stop.

I hate Brandon Marshall. Most actively conflicting star player I've ever had to root for.

Don't get it

Me neither. He has quickly become one of my favorite Bears players.

Its easy to say "Fire Tucker" because frankly he sucks. But a purely offensive head coach can't justify firing the defensive coach when HIS offense is the reason this team has a losing record. A team that averaged 28 points per game last year has had single digit halves in all but 2 games this year.

I don't really read that article as Marshall calling out Cutler. Sounds like a bunch of pissed off guys.

Agreed, but you know where the narrative is going to go now...

...even thought his INT led to nothing, and that strip/sack wasn't his fault.

There's no reason he couldn't have held on to that ball. Sack not his fault, but that fumble was ridiculous.

Huh? That INT was terrible and stopped a drive.

The INT probably took points off the board and definitely took away precious minutes the Bears needed given how slow they were offensively and how big an advantage the Dolphins has in TOP.

The strip was definitely Cutler's fault. He fumbles way too frequently when sacked.

Some people refuse to accept reality. Jay is a big part of the inconsistent offense.

He's the QB. He's the biggest part. Not a coincedence when he turns the ball over the team loses.

Me neither. He has quickly become one of my favorite Bears players.

He constantly uses mental illness to absolve selfish behavior and violence towards women. Not justify or excuse. Absolve. Total narcissist. Probably a sociopath.

I don't think it's an excuse. He's actually been diagnosed with BPD and receives treatment for it.

Yes I know.

I said he doesn't use it as an excuse. He uses it to absolve himself. He showed no remorse in his awful, crazy press conference. Just hubris. Buy his self-authored redemption narrative if you want. I think he's a creep.

Lovie and Jay were 34-22 when Jay played and Jay and Trestman are 8-10 and that number will get worse as the season goes on. Jay was 7-9, 10-5, 7-3, and 10-5 with Lovie as HC. If we kept lovie and added these offensive weapons we would have contended.

The 2012 Bears were +98 in differential. Last year they were -33. Adding Jeffery and Bennett solidifying the line, and having Lovie coach up a defense and get the most out of the resources they put toward d, and we could have been a super bowl contender noth last year and this year. Instead we are talking about potentially blowing this team up.

Jay is a good QB but is mistake prone. If your teams only hope is gunslinging with Jay, than of course the team struggles when Jay struggles. Lovies teams did all the little things well. It was always a very professional team. We could be winning some of these games without Jay's best stuff. The problem is we do absolutely everything poorly. It was asinine to break up the entire coaching staff. And then hubris to hire a CFL coach and outsmart the league. Emery is an ass. Trestman sucks. That totally blew the Bears opportunity.
