Sucks living on the east coast right now

Yup. I think I'm turning in. It would suck to lose sleep if they lose this one.

It is hilarious that Shaw tried to head butt that puck. That is the Shawsiest thing that's ever happened.

Seriously though, I only watched through the first OT, but Shaw played his ass off last night.

Tried? There is no try, only do.

I was impressed by Vermettes play too. He was real solid.

I crashed before OT. Glad I did.

That header was so sweet. No doubt will be remembered much longer than Kruger's goal.

Stayed up to watch the game, Very tired, so glad they won becasue it would make today suck. Got the split, I thought they played better in game 1 than 2 though.

Announcer: "There's nothing in the rule books."

Ref: "Deliberate head butt, no goal."

I wish Doc could teleport to the west coast because this announcing crew really blows. Somehow, Micheletti confused Hjalmarsson for Oduya on that awful icing at the end of either regulation or the 1st OT. And then yeah, saying there's nothing in the rule book but then actually showing the rule from the rulebook later on in the game sure was great too.

I'm thrilled with that win because I thought Anaheim was the better team for probably 5 of the 6 periods last night. After Anaheim's first goal, they just took control of the game. Crawford was spectacular, although the post was certainly helpful last night too. Take care of business tomorrow and Saturday.

It evened out from game 1.

Hopefully breaking that unbeaten streak @ home that Anaheim was riding will mean something when we go back there. We are in a position to capture this thing at home, but it's not going to be easy.

I think we split at home but still win the series in 6. I cannot think of a series where the Hawks didn't play better as the series went on.

I guess the only 2 examples in the Q era are the WCF against Detroit in the first playoff run and the series against Phoenix with Hossa out and Toews not right from the concussion.

Not to mention I think the Ducks will begin losing their cool as they get frustrated as the series goes on, ala the Canucks from a few years ago. Their coach seems to lose it too when things take a turn for the worse.
