Yeah, it's time. Past time. Maybe he'll hit well enough at Iowa to get called back in September and put himself in position for a backup spot next year. Odds aren't in his favor though obviously.

I don't get how this happens so fast. Vitters and jackson both had decent success at AAA their first time through and now are awful, are they just old enough that they've regressed, or is the book just really out on them now?

I went to screen shot this ridiculous tweet I saw about Barney but it had been deleted by the time I hopped on my computer. But some guy was so pissed that Barney got DFA because "He plays the game the right way." The guy later went on to say that Castro should have been the one designed for assignment instead. Some people on twitter are just really special it seems. :banghead:
