lake is out of the lineup again. i feel like how bad mike olt has been has distracted us from how bad junior lake has been.

FLAMING GARBAGE.

What happened to Olt? Didn't he start off hot? How much he mus have fallen off to drop his average that low.

When he hits the ball, he tends to hit it really hard. Contact is the problem. Combination of being too passive early in the count and too aggressive deep in the count, and bad pitch recognition (IMO). It doesn't look promising.

That's not even true. He has an anemic LD%. If you got bonus points for far HRs he might have value as a 25th guy

Wow. Wasn't he the prize in the Garza trade ?

No, not remotely. He was a bonus lottery ticket.

He got the most publicity because he was the most recognizable name. CJ Edwards was the prize, but Neil Ramirez is presently the best player we got in return.

Some people thought so, but those people were teh dumbs.

CJ Edwards was the prize. But he's working his way back from shoulder fatigue :(

Ramirez and Grimm are both pitching well in the MLB bullpen, though.

Nah, CJ Edwards was. Olt was pretty much a throw in.
