Week 14: Cowboys (7-5) @ Bears (6-6) Mon Night ESPN

It really really sucks that Robbie missed that kick last week (or any other number of plays you can pick out).

A team with an offense like this can make noise against anybody.

It sucks that they lost Tillman, Henry Melton, DJ Williams and Briggs for (effectively) the season really

EDIT: ahahahahaha make it a blowout again. Go home Dallas.

Well yeah.

Jesus christ they wont shut up with the McCown-Cutler stuff. Its insufferable

Eh, it's a fair question.

Cutler is obviously the better quarterback long term, but can a less than 100% Cutler step in and give the team a better chance to win right now? I don't know what the answer is.

Jay Cutler/Josh McCown combined through (almost) 13 games:

313-484

64.7%

3,702 yards (4,556 projected)

26 TD (32 projected)

It's going to be a really big decision next week if Cutler is cleared to play

No its not. If Cutler is healthy he will play without question.

If he's cleared to play I go Cutler without even thinking. Especially against a bad team like the Browns.

If he's """Cleared""" to play like he was against the Lions on 3 weeks rest with an injury that needs 4 weeks or more typically, well, thats different.

Kyle Orton sighting!! Hooray!! The Cowboys really do want to make us happy :)

One of the first games I remember was the drubbing in Dallas during Super Bowl year. This is almost as good.

I'm going to have a glorious day at work tomorrow. Not only do I work with an obnoxious Cowboys fan, I am playing him in fantasy football this week and just blew him out of the playoffs with...Josh McCown as my QB. Double win!

I would imagine, but the decision is still really important. You can't throw away a half with this defense waiting to see if Cutler can perform. How'd that go the other time they brought back Cutler after he was cleared by the doctors to play but couldn't make all the throws, couldn't escape, and had to dial back the playbook?

Yea I think the test is how much of the play book Trestman would hold back with Cutler. If he isn't healthy enough to utilize his legs and you're keeping plays out you probably have to stick with McCown. If Cutler is really 100% or close enough you go with him no doubt.

His groin was holding him back. Trestman said that they dialed back the playbook for him.
