Week 14: Cowboys (7-5) @ Bears (6-6) Mon Night ESPN

I remember when you used to hear, "Once your star QB goes down for significant time, it doesn't matter who the backup is because they all suck." At the very least McCown has helped keep this team afloat. Needed McCown the last few years.

The OC makes all the difference. Well, that and actual weapons.

Yea it was unfortunately pretty true when said in the past- no more.

Oh man how great would it be for the Lions to become unhinged and crash and burn

May as well keep the pressure on, what the hell

They get the Ravens and Giants at home, followed at a completely shiftless Vikings team. You pretty much can only pray for one more loss out of them. (Even given how dumb they are)

Bears need to win out

I dunno its....really bad. The Bears really shouldn't have lost those last two games, they may not be mathematically out, but...its really bad.

It's going to be hard to fend off the Cutler haters this week.

It's funny people feel the need to get ahead of that.

I need to brace myself for the week of sports talk annoyance

My brother just finally told me that Bears should just play McCown the rest of the way and let Cutler go in the offseason. He's not a Cutler hater either as we would defend Cutler against our usually idiot Bears friends.

The decision isn't between cutler and mccown. It's about cutler and his contract. Mccown is thawing what a replacement player can do with the rest of the offense.

I was thinking about Lions/Vikings today. For one, Peterson might play...maybe maybe not, but there's a chance and it didn't look that way yesterday.

But it will also be the last game ever at the Metrodome, so that might be a cause for getting fired up, who knows.

if/when cutler returns he better be glorious because i don't want to deal with the alternative

They have certainly helped, but Caleb Hanie and Jason Campbell don't do this even in the 2013 offense.

ahahah Romo has completely given up. Its weird to watch a game like this, given how rare they are for the 2013 team. Feels good though.

Pile it on.

Did he not know it was 4th down?

Yeah, that was stupid. You might as well throw it down field, if it's intercepted, the Bears may end up with worse field-position. That was just a "here, I give up."

Bears will be favored @ CLE and the Ravens need the win @ DET on Monday. I like the odds of that happening and Detroit coming unglued.

I'm fairly certain Campbell could be doing this.

But then the Bears get to face a pretty decent Eagles team and Packers starting WHO THE GODS KNOWS

Mccown going downfield more than typical backups. Jason Campbell would go 22-23 for 150 yards in this offense.
