all the games played were done with and i had won my matchup on Sunday night

then the adjustments kicked in the next day and my opponent gained like 6 points from their now-leading scorer Lavonte David's TFLs

IDP... :x

Adjustments are absolutely criminal. I've lost a game from an adjustment before, it sucks.

Same here. Came from behind to win (I thought) and then an adjustment bumped me back down.

I beat my opponent 143-132 this week. And five different TD's were called back - he had Harvin and I had Demaryius and Hilton. Wild week.

Fantasy baseball rants good?

I've had a standing sidebet with my league nemesis for the last three years in my money league -- $50 to whichever team finishes highest in the regular season. I've won all three years.

After his first lost bet, he was going to pay me back at the live draft for our next season. We both got way too trashed and forgot. Oh well.

He lost again the second year. Again, the plan was to repay me at the live draft. Well, we all had to cancel the live draft at the last second. I told him to just paypal me the $100. He said he wanted to wait until after the season to do it all at once.

He lost again. Now he's decided the amount of the sidebet has gotten funny and is refusing to pay me because he thinks it's all a joke. $150 is enough to pay my power bill for the month, so I'm starting to get a bit peeved about it.

4-1 in one league, 17 points away from the first place team who's also 4-1. We are playing each other this week, winner probably has a good shot to win his money back as regular season winner (though there is another 4-1 team that I lost to by 1.2 points).

Anyway, I have Andrew Luck. Very happy with 370 yards, 3 TDs from him. 29+ points. He has Arian Foster, who matched Luck's 29 points. And in this league we have individual defensive players, and he took the 1st IDP in JJ Watt. 7 tackles, 3 batted passes, 2 sacks, fumble recovery and a TD. 19.75 points. He was favored by 3 points according to projections, but had 2 players outscore their projection by 12 points yesterday. Luck exceeded his projection by 7. Oh and I have Calvin Johnson in this league.

It would appear that I'm going to have my every 4th year or so luck of every other team having their best week against me. Last week, GB defense goes nuts, this week, yep, TY Hilton. Ugh. And the only reason I won in week 1 was because I outscored everyone else in the league by 20+ points.

I hate that I have so much bad luck in fantasy that I'm considering benching Randle and the Eagles D tonight with a 1.6 point lead and no guys left for opponent because I can totally see a scenario where they combine to lose more than 1.6 points.

But I probably won't sit them because I equally fear a 1.7 point stat correction in my opponents favor.

Yep, going to have the 2nd highest score this week and lose. Again.

Last week I drew the second highest scorer in my league but scored the most. This week I drew the highest scorer and I will be something like 4th (14 team league). Sigh.

F the Giants. I had a 29 point lead heading into the Sunday night game with Maclin vs the Philly D. No sweat, right?

The sack on the final play gave Philly 30 points to just 1 for Maclin. The Giants even tried to give it away a couple of other times in that drive with the sack/fumble and then the sack that was negated by the personal foul.

I think you should be mad at your league's scoring. How the hell did the Eagles D score 30 in your league without a defensive TD, and only 1 turnover?

My league is the same. 12 points for allowing 0 points, 2 points per sack, 2 points per turnover

Did they have 8 sacks? I guess mine is the same then too. I didn't know they had that many.

Edit: no, all my leagues are 1 point per sack and 10 per shutout.

In Calvin Johnson's spot in my lineup was Andrew Hawkins. Thought this was a good pick. Final round pick. Never started him, but he had at least 7 targets in every game so far. Puts up 0 catches for 0 yards. 0 points. Same as Calvin Johnson who didn't play. My flex, Kendall Wright, had 1 catch, 6 yards for 1.6 points.

Yet somehow, I had a 15+ point lead going into SNF. My opponent had Maclin and Eagles K left to play. After a 45 yard FG, Cody Parker had 10 points. He finished with just 11. But Maclin only put up 3.6, giving me a win by less than 2 points (got .5 points for a Hawkins tackle on an INT overnight).

So with another big day yesterday, my main fantasy team now leads the league in points scored.

Unfortunately, I am only 2-4 overall and in 10th place (out of 12 teams) after this weeks games. How does that happen? I guess the 1.5 point and 3.5 point losses earlier in this year don't help. Luckily 8 teams make the playoffs, and the leagues #4-9 teams are all 3-3, so with another win I could really shoot up in the standings.

I'm 0-6 now. Every week, I have failed to even sniff my projected points. LeSean McCoy FINALLY had a decent game, but Matt Ryan and Emmanuel Sanders came up well short.

After the draft, I had a 99.9% chance of making the playoffs and had the top ranked team. Every week, I play against someone that lucks into a crapton of points (Forte: 28pts, Ellington: 26pts, Cobb: 23pts, DJackson: 18pts, JNelson: 27pts, LBell: 27pts. Backwards from Week 6).

Meanwhile, I missed big by benching Marshall when he was likely out, monday game, had to choose a replacement. Put in Mike Wallace, who still got me decent points(11.6), but Marshall had 22. Next week, I make sure to start Marshall. He gets me 0.6pts. ESanders had 15 sitting on my bench.

Pretty much, if you need help figuring out who to start, pick someone off my bench or someone I'm playing against.

I have had the highest scoring QB in the league the past two weeks... on my bench. Last week I started Russell Wilson (terrible week) and Kirk Cousins over Flacco. We start two QB's. This week, I put Wilson on the bench, thinking Cousins could have a relatively big day against the Titans. Every single week of the year so far, I have had better scoring QB's on my bench, but the last two weeks have been especially annoying. Today I missed out on about 40 extra points by making the last minute switch to Cousins over Wilson.

My opponent this week has already exceeded his projection and still has his QB, Roethlisberger, and Odell Beckham to go. He had Denard Robinson, who's going to outscore anyone on my team. After a 5-0 start my team is going down in flames.

Right after the Bears game ended I checked my fantasy team and saw I was up 108-90. After the noon games I had 6 guys left and he had 3 (Murray, K, D). Feeling pretty good. Instead of explaining what team each guy is on, assume the guys doing well are my opponents and guys doing bad are my guys. This was in a 5 minute span immediately following bad Bears loss:

-Stafford with a long TD pass

-Wilson long TD pass

-Browns muff a punt and Jags recover inside 10. Jags quickly score a TD (have browns D)

-Brees INT

-Stafford TD

-Browns somehow allow another TD

There were a couple of other things. Anyways after those 5 minutes are over I go from up 108-90 to down 125-97. I lost 11 points and he gained 35
