Just had my best week of the year with 189+ points......on a 1st round BYE. The team I play this week, won his game by putting up 184 (opponent had a very good 165).

 

I lost Andre Ellington for the year, he lost Brandon Marshall. My team is completely QB and WR driven, with Megatron, Jordy, Beckham Jr, and Luck (each put up 30 this week). I'm going to have to win with Lamar Miller and either UDFA Crowell or Ellington's replacement (if I get him on waivers) at RB, and a TE that has been inconsistent this year (Cameron).

I also got first place and a bye for week 14. But the only team I'm really afraid of...the team that actually scored the most points in the league, barely ahead of me, is my matchup this week. But at least my team is healthy...it's just a matter of picking my individual defensive players this week, and hoping Josh Gordon has a better week this week.

Second highest point total in Round One wasn't enough (144.8 to 148) . At least it wasn't a money league.

That was a fun one to keep up with. And I'm glad I had a bye - my team was pathetic.

I'm really bummed about my money league. Down 12 going into the second week of Rd1, but had so many chances to close that gap. 49ers only put up 1 vs the freaking Raiders while Balt put up 11. I had two injuries (Ellington and Jackson) and nearly grabbed Charles Johnson (Minn) of waivers who put up 16 (I instead grabbed Chris Johnson who just gave me 6). Then Matt Ryan had a huge night and Brees put up 13.

 

Brees better make it up to me vs the Bears this week.

Had the 4th most points in a 12 team league, missed the 6 team playoffs and have now had the highest point total in each of the first 2 weeks of the playoffs. That's some serious BS.

#firstworldproblems, but after barely advancing to the finals thanks to Aaron Rodgers' stink-bomb, I now have a situation where I'm headed into the finals with:

 

Isaiah Crowell, who can't get anything going if Manziel is terrible

Nuke Hopkins, who now has no QB

T.Y. Hilton, who has some sort of hamstring injury

Jeremy Maclin, who hasn't been nearly as good since Foles got hurt

 

Going against a guy who has Le'Veon Bell, Andrew Luck, and Dez Bryant, as well as (if he ever wakes up) Jimmy Graham. Don't love my chances to say the least.

Quite fitting that the guy I've defended to a near death (Jay Cutler) has to get me 7.5+ points (ESPN Standard) to advance me to the finals.

 

Thank God I picked up Harry Douglas 15 minutes before kickoff and played him in place of Josh Gordon, or else I'd need about 19 from Cutler.

 

He's only failed to get 7.5 once this year, and facing a bad defense at home it looks good, but the Kromer thing worries me as does a benching if he starts slow.

I need 40 points from my QB to win tonight. Do I go with Brees against the Bears pass D or Cutler against the NO pass D?

Of [expletive] course I put up 123 this week, and that's with Beckham putting up almost 42 of those. Luck = 9 points below projection. Calvin Johnson = 11 below. Jordy Nelson = 9 below. Got 12 total points from the combination of Lamar Miller, Isaiah Crowell, and Jordan Cameron. And it's not like I started the wrong people. I knew I'd be in trouble w/ Ellington going down and TE has been terrible for me all year since Pitta went down.

 

That's what I get for picking a [expletive] Packer. Nelson dropped 2 TDs. One for about 84 yards, the other for 30. I win if I have those 2 plays.

 

In my other league, I need a miracle. Need Forte to outscore Jimmy Graham by 19.

I was up by two before the last Bears last drive with my opponent having Forte and Bennett and was sure garbage time was going to end me. It sealed my win instead (I have Alshon). Whew.

Yeah my opponent had Bennet as well, was afraid of those check downs to him Cutler has gone to the last few weeks on late drives.

I lost my fantasy semis 103-101 because Dez had a career night and Maclin fell on the 1 freaking yard line instead of getting into the end zone.

 

Pretty much sums up my season though, went 7-7 in the regular season with the most points in the league even though i somehow got in the playoffs. Playing for third and will no doubt lose to a guy starting frank gore and tre mason.

Won the regular season with only 3 losses...2 games better than 2nd place.

 

Lost both playoff games....the last one thanks to a 43 point performance from Russell Wilson.
