If Brown or Ogletree isn't the direction we go, I'd just play DJ in the middle and go after the spot again next year. The distraction Te'o brings outweighs his talent, in my mind. I don't really want to spend a 1st on a MLB to begin with.

I think the distraction will be nominal at best.

I just don't think he's anything special and you don't draft non-special LB in the first round.

In the hypothetical given, I like Trufant there for the Bears. A good nickel to eventually take over for our two aging CBs on short deals would be nice.

Yeah, I'm coming over to that line of thought as well, despite pushing for Cordarelle earlier.

Sorry about the delay. Damontre Moore is incredibly tempting here, but I can't justify it after the Werner pick. So, the Jags show a complete lack of faith their QB here and take QB Matt Barkley. Gabbert was a raw, toolsy prospect and hasn't worked out, so the Jags go with a less toolsy but far more polished QB in Barkley.

Raisin is up.

The 49ers select:

Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State

part of the motivation for passing on Ziggy Ansah at 5 was the hope that either Damontre Moore or Tank Carradine would be available in rd. 2 and there isn't quite so good OT depth to pass on Fisher in the first

that's how it panned out, so here the Lions are pretty excited to go

DE Cornelius (Tank) Carradine, Florida State

I was really tempted to take Damontre Moore again, but once again I'm going to pass on him. Instead, I'm going to address the Titans' other biggest need - a guard. Munchak likes linemen that can play multiple spots, so I'll pass on Warford and go with Tennesse offensive lineman Dallas Thomas.

Sorry for the holdup. I checked this thread apparently a bit too early yesterday.

Dolphins just lost a Long, so they'll get a new one: Kyle Long, OL, Oregon.

The Cowboys will probably look to safety, d-line, or maybe additional support for the o-line here. I don't like the value at safety and having addressed o-line in the first, I think the Cowboys will be deciding who is the best value between Short (Purdue), Jenkins (Georgia), or Montgomery (LSU).

I like Jenkins a lot better here, though I wonder if Garrett would prefer Short. I'm going with Jenkins as I think his film looks a lot better.

Cowboys select Johnathan Jenkins, DT Georgia.
