I read today that Cutler/Cavalleri's wedding was going to be part of a reality show on E.

Also did we ever talk about Cutler's NFL Network commercial? That's pretty hilarious.

I really like that commercial, mostly because he's kind of playing himself.

Jay proposes by texting, and he sends the engagement ring in the mail.

Seriously, lol.

And she says yes.

Cavallari also explained how Cutler proposed to her. She told E! that they were at the airport in Chicago, after spending some time together, and the issue of marriage came up and they agreed it was a good idea. Culter later sent her a ring in the mail.

Cutler being Cutler. I love it.

Kiper now has the Bears taking DJ Fluker in the first round. This is his writeup:

D.J. Fluker *

Chicago Bears (10-6) COLLEGE: Alabama AGE: 21 HT: 6-6 WT: 335 POS: OT

Analysis: A fourth-year junior, Fluker was allowed to participate at the Senior Bowl, and he took advantage. He has great size, and has extremely long arms he can use to move and frustrate pass-rushers. It's possible he was overlooked a little during the season because the level of play along the Bama offensive line was so good. I think when Marc Trestman starts rolling the tape on the Bears, he's going to see that the offensive line simply has to see a talent infusion. Fluker could be the best one the Bears have by the end of his rookie year.

Somehow I missed that Cutler piece. That little nugget with Tice at the end, with BM sitting in between, is absolute [expletive] gold.

Love me some Cutler.

Could you tell me where Jonathan Cooper and Lane Johnson went (obviously Joeckel, Fisher and Warmack won't be available)? I'd rather have Cooper than Fluker, not sure about Johnson.

I can't see Kiper's draft (insider) but Walterfootball has Johnson going #11 to the Chargers, and Cooper going to the Bears. Fluker to Carolina in 2nd round, #44 overall.

kiper doesn't know what he's talking about, he's just slotting people. fluker doesn't fit the bears' needs at all. he's a run blocking RT in the NFL, and we already have one of those whom we took with a high pick a couple of years ago. there won't be any pass-blocking LT worth taking at 20, you need to have a really bad year to get one of those guys in the draft. the bears will go after albert and long and take one of the real nasty OL available, or go ILB.

Fluker is known to have problems in pass protection, even at RT. He's a great run blocker. I don't think he matches what the Bears need. Nor would he be "best player available" on anyone's board in the 1st round.

I can't see it.

McShay has the Bears taking Te'o first round.

i wouldn't hate that.

While the value would be there and it fits a need, I would not like it. MLB don't win football games in today's NFL. MLB aren't difference makers.

In the Bears defense, it's important though (especially one who is good in pass coverage). If the Bears are committed to sticking to the 4-3, I could see them taking someone like T'eo in the first round as a replacement for Urlacher.

Agreed on Fluker at RT. lf you draft him, you plug him in at guard; he has the talent to be a high level guard in the NFL.
