This had to be posted with the knowledge that the best fans in baseball would revolt.

I've had at least 6 people on facebook today post something like "Typical Brewers... trying to run a smear campaign against the best catcher of our generation? Yadi is better any day."

They're delusional AND they can't take a joke. Even better. That said...

Lucroy: .340/.401/.537/.937 156 OPS+ 8 HR 37 RBI 26 BB 31 K 3.9 rWAR 3.4 fWAR (dWAR 1.1)

Molina: .283/.332/.408/.740 104 OPS+ 6 HR 26 RBI 17 BB 33 K 1.0 rWAR 1.6 fWAR (dWAR 0.4)

It's not even remotely close who has been the best catcher this season.

At least they have come down a bit and only are calling him the "best catcher of our generation" and not "greatest catcher of all time." Which they were throwing out a lot last year, iirc. Baby steps...

he claims to be a "successful professional gambler" but he's actually just a huge [expletive] dork

This is true of all professoinal gamblers, of which none are successful.

Plus, Molina has a neck tattoo.

TBFIB are retaliating with a picture of Molina that says "Jonathan Lucroy? Never heard of her."

Boom. Roasted.

I can name like 30 successful professional gamblers off the top of my head.

Daniel Bard had a 175.50 ERA prior to getting cut. Without giving up a single hit. 9 walks and. 7 HBP's in 2/3 of an inning.

Yeah, but his FIP was only 72.68. Unlucky.

He was very good at poker (and backgammon)

He was terrible at actual gambling

Basically he was notorious for running up a bunch of money playing backgammon or poker and then pissing it all away betting sports and playing casino games. Then he'd do it all over again.
