It's so weird that after tonight Michigan will have played each of the other "top 7" teams (MSU, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois) on the road but will have only played Ohio at home.

I kinda want Michigan St. to win this game. I know if they lose IU is in 1st place all alone, but if Michigan doesn't lose this game, they probably aren't going to lose the rest of the B1G regular season. Penn St. and Purdue is the extent of their road schedule with 4 games left at home (IU, MSU, ILL, Penn St).

A loss puts Michigan at 4 losses in the conference, and even if they win out, IU would tie for the conference if they win all the games they will be favored to win (losing at UM and MSU). Michigan St. still has to go to Ohio St. and Michigan, so hopefully that would be 2 losses for them. That would mean a 3-way tie if IU loses at MSU. But a win there and they probably win the conference outright. Though I think IU has a better chance to win in Ann Arbor than East Lansing.

Nerlens Noel broke himself pretty badly it appears.

Did he get injured?

Leg injury, he was on the ground screaming. Maybe just a hyper extended knee. Carried off the court.

time to reassess michigan or just a terrible game against a great team on the road? I just don't know anymore. They will fatten up on the Penn States on the league coming up, but that doesnt exactly inspire confidence. Trying not to be down because they are still a very talented team but yeah...

That sucks. He was really coming on.

This is not what Calipari paid for!

Definitely just a bad game. John Beilein may be the best in game coach in the country, something very positiveheading into the NCAA's. Also remember that MSU is a beast int he paint, not Michigan's strong suit. The tournament is much more guard driven and coaches making halftime adjustments in must win scenarios. In fact, Beilein/Izzo may be 1/2 for me (others would include Bo, K, Pitino, Calipari, Stevens, Shaka, Few).

Michigan is still a #1 seed for me. But, some teams to watch out for with big time matchup problems for them in the tournament:

MSU

G'Town

UNLV

Creighton

Colorado St.

get stupid wichita state and creighton out of the polls and keep them out.

Wichita is out and won't be back in for the rest of the season, but you're going to punish Creighton for losing at Indiana State, who's proven that they're a bubble team? I don't see you trying to get Kansas State kicked out of the polls for losing at Iowa State (Hint: Iowa State = Indiana State, resume wise).

can creighton be out of the polls yet?

Sorry, I was busy chugging windex.

Everyone keeps talking about him being a lock for the number 1 pick... I know that he's a force defensively, but wouldn't most teams at least take a good hard look at Ben McLemore if he declares?

He'll probably have to go to the draft even though he's not going to be the top pick. He probably hasn't even been going to class.
