VCU's win was the first for a lower seeded team in the tournament.

35.5% of ESPN's 7 millionish brackets had the first 8 games all being favorites winning

Down to around 5% after the first three evening games.

Perry Jones is listed at 6-11 and is projected as a lottery pick.

South Dakota State has three players on the roster listed as being taller than 6-6 (one each at 6-7, 6-8 and 6-9), though one of them never plays.

Somehow, Perry Jones has exactly two points so far in the game. I'll give him credit for having 11 boards, but to only have two points right now is pathetic.

ISU is winning 36-14. This pleases me.

UConn is being exposed.

That's three Big East teams that have looked bad today.

EDIT: Of course, Iowa State does have to remember that the game doesn't end as soon as you go up 20.

LOL. UConn player throws up a last second shot from half court with five seconds left.

Wasn't it one of their players that threw up a full courter last year with 10 seconds left in the half?

EDIT: HAHAHA. Not only was it Connecticut but it was the same player - Roscoe Smith.

12-12 and will go 15-15 if these three leads hold up.

so...why is Andre Drummond going to be the #2 pick in the draft again?

I'm sure there will be enough people who overreact to one game and put that into question.

West Virginia isn't a Big East school anymore as far as I'm concerned. They played their last game in the league. :-)

Everyone knew the Big East wasn't good this year, though. No big shock. WVU and UConn were very predictable losses.
