You can bet if that happens there will be rumblings to change the format so as to not give those play-in teams an unfair "momentum" advantage.

 

ETA: And VCU still had no right being in the tourney last year, nor does Iona this year.

Got to be one of the biggest point disparities between the two halves for a team in NCAA history.

 

I can't imagine there are many teams who have scored over three times as many points in one half as they did in the other.

Having a tough time picking some first round upsets in the bracket. First run through I only have five upsets by seed, and that includes the No. 9 seeds.

How the hell did this happen? How did that entire conference get so bad? I mean I've never thought of the Pac 10 as an elite hoops conference but usually they have produced at least some strong teams in the past. Heck, Howland gets an extension and UCLA could not even qualify for the tourney in this league?
