It appears they have reconfigured the L tracks as well. This should benefit my apartment.

I think they just put that there to compare the size.

lmao

Should have put Pot Roast on there too

This answered my question about the visitor's clubhouse.

To provide the team with the best resources in the game, more than 30,000 square feet of space will be dedicated to new player facilities. This clubhouse area will include a locker room for players and coaches, a strength and conditioning center, training and hydrotherapy areas, a media center, a 200-seat auditorium, offices and a player lounge. It will be completed in Phase Two of the 1060 Project, which means it will be ready for Opening Day 2016.

Underground batting tunnels will also be added so hitters can warm up against live pitching before, during and after games. Until now, Cubs players have been required to drop a net in the clubhouse and take swings off a tee if they wanted to prepare for at-bats during games.

In Phase Three of the restoration project, the visitor's clubhouse will be expanded and improved.

I still wonder if/how the Cubs can actually use those batting tunnels if the other team doesn't have something similar.

the cubs should give the other teams batting cages with pitching machines that only throw 140mph fastballs at your head

So with the old batting cages under the bleachers being gone, are they going to build some that are temporary under the new bleachers where the bullpens will be?

Rooftop atty says @WhiteSox not a sub for @Cubs as far as tix market concerned. "You're not a baseball fan. You're a Cubs fan or a Sox fan."

Are they seriously [expletive] making an argument regarding the Cubs monopolizing the viewing of Cubs games?

While I can't get too excited because there still exists a chance that something stupid happens, I'm very much enjoying all the tortured logic that these parasites are forced to come up with.

Cubs atty argues that ultimately, Cubs baseball is their own single product & they can't legally be cited for monopolizing their own product

Jared S. Hopkins ‏@JaredSHopkins 1m1 minute ago

Cubs lawyer "can't get paste" price fixing claims, says they "raising prices" is not price fixing. Also says they're mere allegations.

Crazy ass concepts imo

Seems like that might the easiest argument those attorneys have ever had to craft

The best argument they have is with regard to the meaning of he word "expansion" in the context of their agreement with the franchise. The rest is bull----.

Rooftop atty says rooftops never would have agreed to contract if all the Cubs needed to block their views was simple city/landmark permit.

Is this an actual argument?

I figured the best one was with the ambiguity of the expansion language.

I mean the language explicitly says all they need is approval from governmental authorities...how is that at all misleading or ambiguous?

Cubs atty now going over definition of "any" regarding "any expansion of Wrigley Field" clause.

I'm the opposite of a lawyer, but I have to think that 'we didn't mean it that way' is not a very compelling legal argument.

It's not. Four corners doctrine and all that jazz.

Does anyone else look at the pictures posted online or drive by Wrigley and wonder how in the hell they are going to host a baseball game in 11 days? It looks like a gigantic mess, and not just the bleachers.
