A large crop of really good players, a title field that is somewhat wide open (by NBA standards at least) some budding rivalries. This has been a fun year and the playoffs haven't disapointed thus far.

The big-time player performances by Durant, D Rose, Howard and Chris Paul have been NBA fandom-affirming. This is just a great freaking league.
