Oh yeah.

Congrats on taking 7 games to defeat a 41 win team with home court advantage. At least they had 4 more wins than the team that took you to 7 the year before.

Your only 4 titles behind in our lifetimes now right?

Not a good sign for Landry Fields that Billups didn't play a second and he still only got 15 minutes of game time. Roger Mason Jr got more.

If only the Knicks understood how much better a guard he is than Derrick Rose...

I'm just illustrating a point that that percentage number you cited is completely irrelevant.

I mean we're not really going to entertain the idea that they are comparable at all as shooters are we

There's nothing outdated at all about that Rondo flowchart. The guy is actually getting worse as a shooter.

Higher FG% from 16-23 feet than Rose.

Rose:

08-09: 43% (13th)

09-10: 44% (5th)

10-11: 38% (21st)

Rondo:

08-09: 40% (22nd)

09-10: 33% (35th)

10-11: 41% (10th)

Actually not bad. Rose has still hit more (and take a crap more and has been assisted on a lot less) over a 3 year period.

We can certainly entertain the idea that he's not the horrendous shooter you make him out to be.

His 57% free throw percentage from this year says otherwise.

These are pretty meaningless in a vacuum. Rondo maybe approaches competence in one situation and that's where is completely wide open for a midrange J. On every other platform he is one of the worst shooters (as a guard at least) in the history of the league.

I'm not sure if this got mentioned last night, but what in the hell was Larry Drew thinking last night in the first half?

He doesn't get to practice 45 times per game like some people.

But why did this devolve into a discussion solely on jump shooting? The fact that Rondo can run layup drills on teams is a point in his favor, not to his detriment. If he can be an efficient scorer/distributor without being a good jump shooter, who cares?
