I think that the part of me that wants Pujols far, far away from the NL Central unless of course the Cubs well outweighs the part of me that wanted the Cards to overpay for him.

I wanted him to re-sign with the cards. That way in 3-4 years when his numbers start getting bad his contract would be a handcuff to them.

I'm possibly the biggest Pujols advocate around, and I don't think you'll find many people that will disagree. 10/200 made some people queasy, 10/250 is way out there. The only way they can even come close to coming out ahead is if there's some heavy deferrals and he hits the optimistic projections for his performance.
