rooting for lsu made me feel dirty

I was rooting for alabama because whenever a lower ranked teams pulls a slight upset in the SEC, the lower ranked team will unfairly jump a bunch of schools in the polls while the higher ranked team will not drop that much because this just shows how hard the SEC is to play. My guess is LSU will become the highest ranked 1 loss team while Alabama drops to 11 or 12

Alabama will win the Iron Bowl then get into the NC game somehow

Really hoping LSU loses to Arkansas and then Auburn loses to Bama.

There could conceivably be a 4 way tie in the SEC West. Bama and Arkansas now have 2 losses, assuming the Hogs hold on and beat South Carolina. LSU has one. Arkansas plays LSU to end the season, so that's how LSU would get 2 losses. Auburn would need to lose to Georgia and Bama in their last two games. I have no idea who would win the tiebreaker in this scenario, by the way.

that was a real gut punch. pissed iowa state sat on it with 40 seconds left, 3 TO's (nebraska had one) and a kicker who had made a 56 yarder earlier in the game. also, nebraska fans are miserable pieces of [expletive].

that fake fg was in the end zone where we were sitting. at first i thought it was a botched snap and i got real sad. then i realized it was a fake and i was pissed. then i saw the TE wide open and i had a moment of great joy. then the backup [expletive] punter threw a lollipop sally ass lob ball off his wrong foot and i got very sad again. rollercoaster of emotions.

A 21 page college football thread, it's like 2008 again. Except like 13 pages were on that crazy Illinois game. Hopefully that thing is replayed on ESPNU or the BTN in the next couple days, I didn't see any of it until the overtimes.

Iowa got that one gift wrapped thank God. The thing was the defense held them down more than I anticipated and the offense moved the ball the way I expected. They just couldn't do anything in the red zone. Lynch or Mark Stoops, who is a bigger nutjob on the sidelines?

Was that ISU fake extra point the girliest throw you've ever seen in college football? Not even trying to talk trash, he just threw that ball like a 9 year old girl. He didn't even bring his arm back.

Doesn't Auburn have to lose twice for LSU to even make the SEC title game?

Yes....AU would have to lose to Georgia and Alabama...it looks like the South Carolina-Florida game next weekend will determine who goes from the SEC East.

I really don't want to ever see what Harbaugh could do at Michigan.

I kind of love Jim Harbaugh. How nice it must be to have a coach that just wins. No gimmicky system, no need to wait years on end to fit guys into said gimmicky system - just gets guys with talent and wins with them. Pro-style, spread, option, whatever, Stanford can do any of it and do it well.

If he coached UM with the kind of players they can get, like Hawkeye said, look out.

Yeah I really like him. He's a little too coachy and preachy sometimes but as far as on the field I love their stuff. Straight up for the most part. Part of it is probably that they're really similar to Iowa stylistically but that's the kind of football I'm partial to anyways.

He would be badass in the Big Ten. You know he's not gonna be a Stanford lifer, I just wonder if it will be another D-1 job or the NFL. That opportunity will come if he wants it.

A shameful performance

Anything gentlemenly about it?

Watching them was like watching the 2010 Chicago Bears. 0-12 in 1st and goal situations. 0-4 from the 1 yd line. Pathetic.

I was under the impression that there was an issue with Harbaugh about Michigan, but not sure why I am under that impression. Didn't he say he didn't want the job right after Carr quit and was never really considered for it either.

I think Harbaugh is NFL bound anyway.

Yeah, I agree.

This football season has sucked, but today was pretty delicious, outside of KSU pantsing UT.

KU with the dramatic come from behind win.

Mizzou with the faceplant. I'll savor the little things while they last.
