Reports are that the honor code violation that got Davies kicked off was that he had sexual relations with his girlfriend. Definitely a no-no at BYU. Their honor code is so restrictive that even drinking coffee or tea is a violation.

 

That's supposedly the way Harvey Unga violated their honor code and ended up on the Bears via the supplemental draft.

There was a ton of them around when I lived in Boise. Sunday mornings were the best time to get things done. Hit the grocery store...catch a noon movie. Everything was deserted.

I think KU is recruiting him, but they haven't offered. From what I;ve heard, there's a very good chance he ends up at one of the Oklahoma schools.

I think KU is recruiting him, but they haven't offered. From what I;ve heard, there's a very good chance he ends up at one of the Oklahoma schools.

 

Supposedly they offered him but it's conditional depending on Taylor and Selby. He has one visit left after Iowa. If he does use it, sounds like it will be KU. He already visited OU and was at OSU last weekend.

I'm guessing Oklahoma State but there are some connections and I think Iowa's chances are better after reading the stories in the last couple days.

A win would be nice to make sure we at least match last season's awesome 4-14 Big Ten record and also to avoid 20 overall losses for the 3rd straight season. Such lofty goals, I know.
