Well, 9-9 in the Big Ten should be enough for a bid, easily.

 

As for the B1G tournament...I think Illinois has clinched the 5 spot. The MSU-Michigan winner is the 4 seed, and Illinois would win any tiebreaker with PSU and MSU due to both being swept by Michigan.

because that makes way too much sense. its much better to play quinn ball and dribble on the perimeter until someone can jack up a three. DUH

Ahh, yes, but only if PSU loses. If it's a 4-way tie, the head-to-head is Michigan 4-1, Illinois 3-2, PSU 2-4, MSU 2-4. Either way, Illinois will play the MSU-Michigan winner on Friday, and then likely OSU.
