can't believe The Who are playing the halftime show. How tired.

and they're doing a medley, some of which will be mimed to over a track.

it's really embarrassing. they're not the same band without Keith Moon anyways. It's like when Zep plays without Bonham (granted his son is pretty damn good though).

how does it really matter? bonham is a drummer and his son is talented; i doubt the difference is that great. plus why should they not be able to perform their music any more because their alcoholic drummer drank himself to death?

fair point. But how about this: it's embarrassing because they are 65 years old.

Saw that today. Helps explain why he wasn't eager to run on that last play.

Yep, those were just your run of the mill bruises. Every player on the field has those every game. Especially the guys who don't miss a game for 300+ consecutive starts.

Maybe if he came out of the game with them, Rosenfels doesn't cost the team the Super Bowl

I must say, NFL Network is awesome. They have live coverage of the Super Bowl and the goings ons in Miami every day this week from 11 am to 6 pm (EST).

It's mostly just interviews, but still it's cool.

Just found out the Irish Pub in Leuven is showing the game, so I'll be able to watch the last hour/half hour \:D/ (don't have time for the rest as my fraternity is having a party for their 75th year of existance)

I just heard Chris Collinsworth talking about the "humidity factor" and said it would help....the Colts.

Not that the Saints practice most all of the season outdoors....in a freaking swamp city.

But the Colts played the super bowl in Miami 3 years ago. Advantage: Colts.

most of those are kinda dumb. Again, I don't see why the Saints are such underdogs here. The stat sheet doesn't really back that up. As I've said before, I think alot of it has to do with the fact that they are the Saints. Subconsciously the Saints = suck football to most people who have followed the NFL most of their lives. Hell, in my heart, even I don't think they'll win because they are the Saints. 2 or 3 years of watching terrific Saints football can't wipe away the fact that I spent the first 23 or so years of my life with a freaking bag over my head watching those guys. It's similar to all of us watching the Cubs in recent years.

Also, I think alot of the stuff Gregg Williams is saying about roughing up Manning and all that stuff is just a smokescreen. I don't think the Saints are going to blitz that much.

I really really hope not.

I think he exaggerated a bit with the comments, but I do think the Saints will blitz some because that's what Gregg Williams does. He'll just have to be creative with timing, where the guys come from, etc.

The Saints have to at least try to blitz. If it doesn't work and you can't get to Manning, then switch things up. But they can't just sit back from the start.
