like the Vikings and their white trash DE wouldn't have done the same to Brees if they could have? Please.

edit: I haven't defended McCray's hit on Favre. I thought at the time watching it live and still think that it was a cheap shot.

I could give a rat about Allen or Farve, but I believe the Saints backed their way into the SB. I dont think thats even debatable.

It's absolutely not debatable because it makes no freaking sense.

That made me laugh and I agree. Not sure what he is talking about. All I can think of is the difference in yards and first downs. If Minnesota wanted to win all they had to do is hold on to the effing ball and make good hand offs. Pretty fundamental football.

what are you kiding me? 2 ints (one caused by an illegal hit and should have been called back and given MN the ball on the 19), 6 fumbles (3 of which were lost)??? had NO played a real team and not the bumbling idiots they did, no way they are in it.

huh? The ball was already well out of his hands when he was hit. How did the hit cause the int?

I think the Vikings showed up to play. Their offense worked well and so did their D. I gave the Vikings D all the credit in the world for stopping the Saints 4 different times on 3rd and 1 or 2. The Saints led the league in takeaways for a reason and it showed. That's all. Otherwise the Vikings looked pretty solid to me in that game.

NO had the good fortune of playing a team that decided to sh*t their pants insted of showing up, at home, and they STILL needed OT to win.

Don't blame them for the fates of Brett Favre.

a 5:1 turnover ratio doesn't scream confidence to me when you still need OT at home to win, Favre or no Favre. the Saints wont get that against a good team.

the Saints cant take credit for Adrian Peterson, and allowed illegal hits will cause any QB to become a bit erratic

What does confidence have to do with the asinine statement that New Orleans backed into the Super Bowl? I mean, that's just a really stupid claim. They had a great year, played the best competition and won. They deserve being in the Super Bowl.

they backed into it. they played an Arizona team from the worse division in the NFL then played a Minnesota team that did everything to loose. Good luck with Manning! Archie must be loving this

I assume now you are just trying to be a wiseguy because that's just a dumb accusation.

Arizona beat Minnesota late in the year so Arizona > Minnesota.

You should just go to sleep already because you have obviously told yourself everything you needed to in order to sleep. You can take a vacation down to Haiti and get a Vikings NFC Champions shirt if that will help.

you all realize that I have never been and never will be a Vikings fan, right?

objectively look at this, a team that has the fortune that NO has had in the playoffs to get to the SB doesn't exactly represent the best a Conference has to offer. Its the old saying, its better to be lucky then good.

I was pretty certain you were not, and also fairly sure you weren't a complete moron either, so I'm still assuming you are just kidding around, because no reasonable person could think New Orleans backed into the Super Bowl.

You'd think a team with 13 wins and the ninth highest rated offense in the history of the NFL would get more than a little respect from some people. Jesus. The way some people talk you'd think they are the Browns or something.
Posted
Ah yes, the no respect card. Like clockwork it shows up every year before the Super Bowl.

I'm really not getting why some people think the Colts are just that much better than the Saints. Like I've said before, I really think it has something to do with the fact that they are the Saints. It's etched in our collective minds that the Saints = bad football. It's like if the Royals were suddenly winning 100 games a year, I'd have a hard time taking them seriously even in the face of the stats.
