Man. I would much rather have Jamison. But, I wouldn't complain I suppose. Especially if we got big Z back. It honestly wouldn't be the same if we won a championship without Z.

I wouldn't complain either and the Cavs might be getting Corey Maggette, too. But do they need Parker, Gibson, Williams, West and Maggette? That'd be a lot of guards. Would one of those be going to Golden State?

Anyway, my only concern would be Amar'e's defense. It was always bad and now it's gotten worse with his knee problems.

I just saw someone suggest that the Cavs shouldn't trade for Amar'e unless he signs an extension. LOL. I would hope he bails after this season.

The Mavs look really good right now and they quite easily have the best front court in the West. Haywood will destroy Gasol and his goofy beard.

worst dunk contest ever

This. Please just make Nate Robinson go away. The fact he now has won THREE different dunk contests just shows how much it is a joke. OMG HE IS SHORT AND HE CAN DUNK. And he always needs multiple tries to make his dunks, if could nail most of them on the first try I might cut him some slack. Granted most of these scrubs fail in that department too.

At least Dwight Howard made the thing somewhat exciting again for a couple years. Now it is back to scrubs again.

I actually thought Robinson had the best dunks of the night. The NBA just has to recruit better dunkers. Why won't the stars take part in it?

What stars? Yeah, LeBron. And, maybe you could get Howard back in it, but at least he has already done it. What other stars are fantastic dunkers? I find it hilarious when people say they want Vince and Kobe in it. Those guys used to be fantastic dunkers, and are still good players, but they are pretty old.

LeBron, Smith, Howard and Robinson would be fun
Oh yeah, forgot about Josh Smith. I'm not a huge Nate fan. As was already mentioned, I think it takes a lot away from the dunk when it takes more than two times to do it. I think those 3 and a rookie (I really like the dunk-in thing) would be nice.

Agreed on Nate. IMO, Robinson might be the worst dunk contest winner in the history of the even. Heck, even Brent Barry is a more credible dunk contest winner than Nate.

Don't you badmouth Bones.

The answer to the dunk contest is James White. He needs to be forced to be on a team every year at the all star break. Like if you have the worst record in the league you have to sign him for this event.

I'd pay to see the Birdman in the dunk contest. I just think it'd be fun to watch

2-3 years ago maybe. His injuries have taken a lot of his athleticism.

Haha, the NBA doesn't want him in there. He can do dunks that blow away the best NBA dunkers of all time.

Yeah just because I don't think James White is the worst dunk contest winner, doesn't mean he is the correct choice. I do not like that midget and I don't think he should be given a godawful amount of mulligans just to show he can dunk.

And illini, thank you for my new nickname.

Shannon Brown was a huge disappointment in the dunk contest. To me, he is just like JRich circa 2002 and could've thrown down some sick dunks.

Can't believe those guys had such vanilla crap prepared. I think some of them flat out choked and had much better stuff in practice.

So the Blazers finally have a big man with the Camby trade going down. Pretty good deal in all situations. Camby is actually having a pretty solid year defenisively and can help Juan Howard from failing miserably as he gets tired at the end of the season.

I read somewhere that in the 27 games the Blazers have left only 6 are with teams that they are battling with for playoff spots.

What a stupid NBA schedule

Yeah Bones would be Brent Barry. James White has never been in a dunk contest in the NBA. I agree with you on Robinson.
