Sweet, Rose went down hard after being fouled by Howard (again) and now he's getting his left wrist X-Rayed.

that [expletive] is dirty as hell.

You know, after rewatching, it was dirty. Howard wasn't even going for the ball.

So jumping straight up in the air is dirty now? If thats Noah instead of Rose, he probably doesn't even fall down. It was the result of a massive differential in size. I'm sure the same could/would happen if Nelson or Williams drove on Noah.

Quick! Somebody get Charles Oakley on the horn.

Ha. Are you kidding? He ran over and jumped INTO him. He wasn't even making a play on the ball. That's a dirty play. If you watch, Howard actually pulls his arms back away from Rose. He was just going in to make body to body contact.

And Howard's "advice" for Rose to go up off two feet is just stupid. Sure, you're less likely to get hurt, but that's only because you can only jump half as high off two feet.

Lets assume for a minute that he did jump into him. Isn't that how a large number of fouls occur every game? My point still stands about the size. If its anyone other than the point guard, they probably don't even fall down. Also, if Rose doesn't injure his wrist, we're not even having this discussion right now. Would Bulls fans be complaining about the foul if Rose had finished the game with no injury?

No? But that's irrelevant anyway. A dirty foul is a dirty foul, regardless of the outcome.

That's not true at all. You jump higher off of two feet.

Quick. Someone get their college buddies and a tape measure and do a conclusive study!

From a run, you jump higher from a one foot take off.

From a standstill, sure two feetm but that isn't what is being talking about.

You still jump higher off too feet, but it's a slower process. If you're on the run and want to dunk, you have to come to a jump stop and then bend your knees to get enough power to jump high. It's less of a fluid motion than taking off from one foot.

Maybe Hinrich's goofy ass can drop some cheap shot on somebody the way he did to Rondo last year.

Yeah, it's not about the height necessarily. It's about being able to jump in stride, which is what Rose will do (and others).

I don't think Howard is dirty but it would be nice to see the Bulls do a hard foul or two in return. Nothing that would get you thrown out or anything -- just let them know that we noticed and that they can expect the same on the other end of the floor.

Earlier this week, we talked about how Joe Johnson's agent, Arm Tellem, could influence his client's decision in free agency this summer.

And in that same note, we provided quotes from Johnson saying even though he's from a small town, he could see himself in a big city like New York.

Now here's the latest wrinkle from Frank Isola of the New York Daily News: Tellem, Johnson and the Knicks may already have an under-the-table agreement in place for Johnson to sign with New York in the offseason.

Writes Isola: "There is a growing sentiment among opposing team executives that at the very least the Knicks will sign Atlanta's Joe Johnson, whose agent, Arn Tellem, orchestrated the Tracy McGrady trade to the Knicks and has been friends with Walsh for 20 years. It's called a 'wink-wink deal,' and even though it is against NBA rules, the practice does exist and is nearly impossible to police. 'I think that's a done deal,' said one Eastern Conference GM."

If this is the case, take Dwyane Wade -- who was a long-shot for New York in the first place -- off the Knicks' list, as two free-agent shooting guards doesn't make a ton of sense.

Seriously, why are posts like these allowed to be made? It's textbook BS that we wouldn't take from a Cardinal fan in reference to the Cubs.

It's a Cubs board not a Bulls board.

i hate hinrich so much, but rondo is just unbearable. i can't wait for another season or 2 when boston is winning 15 games a season again and everyone is talking [expletive] to rondo for 48 minutes a game

Reaching:

At least James Johnson looked good!

7 in a row, with three more against playoff caliber teams (two of which are on the road) and still will not have Deng or Noah, and maybe Rose. Yeah, it is all over by the complaining. Anybody who uses the Bulls and playoffs in the same sentence are being disingenuous. Even in the east, the Bulls lineup couldn't be an NBDL All-Star team, much less an NBA team. Oh well, at least baseball is here.

Not sure if you are trying to just garner a response but I'm pretty sure Bulls fans along with 98% of NBA fans saw that event differently than you do. I didn't see Hinrich throw Ronda into the scorer's table.
