My god, I hope PSU does better than the Champs Sports Bowl

I don't remember what bowls get which Big Ten finisher, after the Rose Bowl, but PSU is going to have a tough time finishing higher than 3rd. I'd bet it comes down to Iowa/OSU with PSU 3rd. MSU 4th? Wisconsin? Hard to say. The Big Ten schools have played such crappy out of conference schedules that it's hard to know how good any of them are.

It used to go Rose - Capital One - Outback - Alamo, but I don't know if that's true anymore

I hope that's right. A BCS game ND might actually be able to win.

I'd rather play Miami. The media would arbitrarily decide that that didn't count as a big game if we beat Boise State, and Miami would be an awesome matchup for historical purposes to harken back to the old rivalry.

Sure Miami would be fun. And we might be able to beat the Canes. I'm not putting much stock into it. I just like the idea of facing a team we have a chance to beat in a BCS game.

That sounds correct. The Gator Bowl becomes a Big Ten bowl starting next year though, I believe.

Champs says "Big Ten #4 (after BCS)" so I don't know if that's #5? I'd be shocked if PSU is 5th in the Big Ten. Maybe CFBN doesn't think they can beat UM in Ann Arbor? Losses to Iowa, UM, and OSU might make them 5th.

wisconsin's schedule is pretty easy and they might only lose once more the rest of the way. i'm going to guess that osu only loses 1 game in conference and goes to the rose bowl, and iowa, penn state and wisconsin end up with 2 losses in conference, with everyone else losing 3 or more. i have no idea how the selections go at that point - my prediction is that wisconsin will have beaten iowa, iowa will have beaten penn st and penn st and wisconsin don't play each other. so i suppose it would be most fair that iowa and wisconsin get the new year's day bowls and penn st gets relegated to alamo or champs sports.

according to their bowl projections, the alamo and champs sports bowls are both "big ten no. 4 or 5" so maybe they're interchangeable.

Haha, Arkansas vs. Georgia Tech...I'd have to find a way to go that game and root for nobody. (I grew up in Arkansas a Hogs fan, and went to school at Georgia Tech.)

The Alamo and Champs Sports rotate having the 4th pick. I believe this is the year the Champs has #4.

The Big Ten actually ends its affiliation with both bowls this year. Starting next year it's:

1. Rose vs. BCS

2. Capital One vs. SEC

3. Outback vs. SEC

4/5. Gator vs. ACC

4/5. Insight vs. Big 12

6. Texas vs. Big 12

7. A new bowl in the old Cotton Bowl stadium vs. Big 12 or C-USA

8. Detroit bowl vs. MAC

Assuming Dez Bryant is out, I like Missouri's chances to keep it close and maybe pull out a win on Saturday at Okie State.

If that Nebraska/Texas Tech game was in Lubbock, I'd like Tech's chances too, but they probably won't win in Lincoln.

And Kansas should just lose in Boulder because I need a good laugh.

Did they ever break their losing streak in the green uniforms?

I just remember it being pretty funny that they'd bust out the green uniforms for a big game...and then always lose.

They wore them in a win against Army in 2006 - the idea being to honor the senior class of that year that had contributed so much, I guess (last home game). Supposedly his kid came up with the idea.

yeah, STFU all you whiny ass fans (like me) who paid $1000+ for season tickets, drive 3 hours one way to get to the game, and spend tons of money on hotels, drinks, etc:

It wasn't very well written, but when taken in context I don't think there's any reason for a fan to be upset about it. He basically said we are upset about losses and don't need you to tell us to be more upset.
