I might get to go to an Illinois game to entertain customers. Hope they like Kams postgame.

They'll love it....

...if they're 19 year old daterapists!

I think you can get an STD simply by walking past that bar.

i hope the complete douche benchwarmer that stared the whole thing gets suspended too.

I have to say, seeing the Boise State guy go from laughing to falling down and not knowing what was going on in a split second was a bit funny.

he isn't getting suspended. now i wouldn't have a problem with him getting a game, but there's a big difference between trash talking (happens all the time) and cold cocking a guy, followed by hitting a teammate in the face, trying to go after opposing fans and requiring several people to get you under control. if he'd done what most normal people do in the face of taunting - shove the other guy back, yell a little bit - he'd still be on the team.

Wow...you guys want to suspend a guy for trash talking? It's freaking football.

Seriously. Do any of you really believe that was all that went on during the game?

With the emphasis on sportsmanship, I think smacking a guy's shoulder pad and taunting to his face does merit a 1 game suspension. It certainly needs to be more than a few extra windsprints.

Regardless, watching him get dropped like that was extra delicious.

And I'm willing to bet the Boise guy was looking out for Blount too and probably didn't just happen to pass right by him after the game.

it would have been funny if he had just decked him and kept walking.

Wow I just saw part of the interview with Blount after the game. As if there were any doubt, he's not very bright.

"I will be sportsmanship this time."

that is amazing. i'm going to start saying that.

I'm still laughing at that. I don't know how that's gone as unnoticed as it has.

18 hours until OU-BYU, can't wait.

The BYU cheerleaders have infested Dallas.

Good luck, I expect to see you all undefeated in Dallas next month.

Considering the already-weak Notre Dame schedule, I shouldn't be preparing to laugh if/when Purdue and Michigan lose to their respective MAC opponents Toledo and WMU tomorrow. But I still am.

(Praying karma doesn't kick me in the ass regarding ND/Nevada for saying this.)

Big deal! It's football. Blount had been saying for weeks that Oregon was going to whip BSU's ass. I'm sure that this guy said something like "Nice [expletive] ass whooping". I don't care if he said he banged Blount's momma last night though. It's just talk.

Being a jerk doesn't merit suspensions. That's ridiculous.

i have to disagree with you, there. if he wouldn't have started hopping around and going nuts and running into the stands and then fighting his own teammates it would have been awesome. a single punch to the guy's grill in that situation would have been a very human response. i think a a lot of people could identify with it. everybody wants to punch the post-game [expletive]-talker in the face, especially if said post-game [expletive]-talker lays his hands on you.

ND's playing probably 6 bowl teams this year, including the Pac-10 and Big East favorites. It amazes me that, as an ND fan, you're perpetuating this "our schedule is so weak" crap. I expect it from ESPN and talking heads, but seriously, do you really want to play 8 conference champs every year?

If someone trash talks me at work and I punch them, I'm going to jail...much less get suspended from work.

are you really comparing your reaction at work to a football field? if you tackled an employee of your competitor on the street, that probably wouldn't be accepted either.

His "job" (as so much as he has one in college) is to play football. Punching isn't part of the game. Taunting has been for a very, very long time.

sucker punching after the game may not be part of the game. But neither is after the game taunting.

I strongly disagree that less obvious punching hasn't been part of football for...well, maybe ever. It's a matter of degrees. He went to far, but so did the taunter.

Woo! It's football day! I'm very excited for Michigan football this afternoon. They're going to suck this season, but whatever.
